About the Estate

Gembe & Watson was established in 2009 to give a family’s interests a permanent home — one that would outlast any single venture, and any single lifetime.

The estate holds those interests separately from the family’s other affairs, and administers them with a long view: preserve what matters, improve what can be improved, and pass both on in good order.

Its work is public, charitable, and private in turn — giving in the community, and support for the family’s commitments at home and in Texas. That work is undertaken quietly, and it is not publicized.
